Parking option for downtown Asheville:
- Harrah’s Cherokee Center : Located at 68 Rankin Avenue.The Harrah's Cherokee Center Garage is largest City operated garage with 550 spaces. This is the prefer lot as it has the most availability, and is one block from our building if you exist from the Haywood street exist, which is located on the fifth floor of the parking deck.
- Rankin Street Parking Deck: Located at 12 Rankin Avenue. The Rankin Avenue Garage, with 262 spaces, is located between Haywood Street and Rankin Avenue just north of College Street, with a pedestrian entrance off of Haywood Street. There are two entrances, one off of Walnut Street and the other off of Rankin. Cash and Credit Cards accepted.
- Wall Street Parking Deck: Located at 45 Wall Street. The Wall Street Garage has 232 spaces and is located off Otis Street between Wall Street and Battery Park Avenue, immediately across the street from the Grove Arcade. Cash and Credit Cards accepted. *(Wall Street tends to fill up fast, Harrah’s Cherokee Center is preferred as it has the most availability).
- Biltmore Avenue Garage: Located at 61 South Lexington Avenue.This garage is three blocks away. It has 432 spaces.

The hourly rates in all garages are:
- Less than one hour: $0.00 (free)
- Each additional/partial hour: $2.00
- Daily Maximum: $20.00
- Lost Ticket: $25.00

Metered parking is found throughout Asheville’s Central Business District of Downtown Asheville. Parking meters are available for short-term parking usage, with a two-hour maximum limit. The rate for all meters is $1.50 per hour. Longer term parking is available in our parking lots and parking garages.
Payment at parking meters is required between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Payment is not required on Sundays, nor designated City Holidays. Payments can be made with coins or credit cards at most meters in the downtown area. We only accept Visa or Mastercard payments. You may also make payment via app or by phone through Passport Parking or by calling 828-357-4911. *Parking garage prices are subject to change.
